    About the speaker: Deanna Rodkey, a Career Specialist with Correctional Industries, a division within the Washington State Department of Corrections, will be speaking on how to connect with individuals releasing from Correctional Industries, and giving us tips on how to tap into Washington's hidden workforce! Deanna will share valuable information about the Washington State Job Training program, a service provided through Correctional Industries. She will explain the value of hiring someone releasing from CI and help us understand whether someone who has served time in the prison system is truly ready to change his or her life. She will help us answer some tough questions, such as why we as employers should care about this talent pool, and whether these individuals deserve a second chance.
