WSHRMA Grant Application

    West Sound Human Resource Management Association’s (WSHRMA) mission is to engage the human resource community by providing professional development, relationship building opportunities and other resources in order to enhance professional growth and optimize strategic workplace contributions in the greater West Sound area.

    WSHRMA is seeking applications from non-profits who are looking for funding for projects benefiting West Sound area communities. This year’s WSHRMA Grant is focused on SHRM’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. If your organization or your favorite non-profit is looking to implement or update its diversity, equity and inclusion programs in light of recent events, now is the chance to receive support for these efforts. One or two projects pertaining to diversity, equity, and inclusion will be considered to receive a grant between $500 and $1,000 depending on the project and funds available.

    Applications may be submitted to WSHRMA by November 30, 2020.

    Selection Criteria

    • Applicant must be a non-profit organization.

    • The project should serve people in West Sound area communities.

    • Projects and/or events that have a significant impact on the community will receive the highest consideration.

    • These WSHRMA funds will not be awarded to fund the requesting organization’s annual operation or maintenance costs.

    • Submit only one application per organization.
