sHRM West sound Grant Application

    SHRM West Sound, a chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), is seeking applications requesting funds for projects that benefit West Sound area communities. SHRM West Sound's mission is to engage the human resource community by providing professional development, relationship building opportunities and other resources in order to enhance professional growth and optimize strategic workplace contributions in the greater West Sound area.

    This year’s SHRM West Sound's Grant is focused on SHRM’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. If your organization is looking to implement or update its diversity, equity, and inclusion programs to expand your workforce or enhance your workplace, now is the chance to receive support for these efforts. One or two projects pertaining to diversity, equity, and inclusion will be considered to receive a grant between $500 and $1,000 depending on the project and funds available. 

    Applications may be submitted to SHRM West Sound by November 30, 2026.

    Selection Criteria

    • Applicant must be a non-profit organization.

    • The project should serve people in West Sound area communities.

    • Projects and/or events that have a significant impact on the community will receive the highest consideration.

    • These SHRM West Sound funds will not be awarded to fund the requesting organization’s annual operation or maintenance costs.

    • Submit only one application per organization.
